Sunday Reflections

What a great day May 1, 2011 was at C3! For the past three years, God has blessed us with amazing growth on our Easter Sunday experiences. The staff make big plans for this day and our volunteers work hard to make all of our guest feel at home and they try to stir a desire within the hearts of our guest that they would want to come back and worship with us again and begin to seek God's will and direction here at C3. But every year, after the BIG DAY, we plan for a big crowd to follow and we have been a little upset because the very next Sunday, we have gone down lower than we had been in some time in our attendance. This year, we planned and God blessed us with the greatest Easter day we have had over the past four years. It was AWESOME! And this Sunday, plans were in place to do it all again, just the same, the same energy, a sermon series beginning that will be very relevant to almost every person that was there on Easter, everyone was set and ready to go. And then - WOW! God did it again, we had a tremendous crowd yesterday, more baptisms of people that had realize over the past two sermons that they needed Jesus. Baptisms of some of our children that had been asking their parents to teach them about Jesus and his call to grace and salvation. More guest yesterday than what we prayed for and more excitement over a series on marriage than we could of every hoped for. This next Sunday is going to be just as relevant. A sermon asking our men to "Man Up!" And our "Women TOO!" As men and women what has God given us to do to be suitable for our mates, to fulfill what God has called us to in the world as a light that is shining in the darkness. Make plans to be here next Sunday and see what God has said and what God has in store for you in your marriage relationship and all other relationships.
