We are working hard as a church and staff to cover every base that we possibly can with man power, financial help and supplies in taking care of the victims displaced and hurting from the tragic storm. Robin, hi, how are you? I have been planning a trip to visit Adam and Nicole this summer. I started classes for the summer the day after the tornado hit.
I was really torn for that one day on what to do...go to school, or head to Joplin. I prayed a bunch, sat and thought and decided to go ahead to these classes and would like to go up there around Aug. 10 or 11 to stay maybe a week. I want to help in some way. I can't do heavy lifting, but wondered if you know or can find out something some people can help with?
I think we may bring a group from our church up during that time, in a few vehicles so that some can go home when they need to or stay longer if they want. Glad you all are ok!! Adam was able to send me a text as the tornado was about to hit. Was that ever some tense moments! Oh, and we are thinking we'll bring some supplies with us, will check beforehand on what might be needed. Take care. Barb Harger
