"The Real Thing"

Next Sunday we start a new series at C3, a series that you don’t want to miss out on. The series: The Real Thing is going to be looking at the beginning of the church in the book of Acts. In Acts 2, we see the birth of the church and the empowering movement of the Holy Spirit. From there we see what began to happen as the first Christian began to live out the leading of the Holy Spirit.
In Acts 2:42, we see that they “devoted” themselves to the “aposteles teaching, fellowship, sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper) and to prayer. From that formula the church in Jerusalem grew and influence the world.
Why can’t that happen again? Why can’t that happen right here at C3? It can and we want to address what C3 is going to be striving for this year in 2011 to make sure that the Holy Spirit has every opportunity to use us all!
