Dreams for 2011 Pt. 2

I want to see families come here with their children and teens because here parents know that their children will be taken care of and taught the good news of Jesus Christ.

Yes, one of my #1 concerns is that C3 would be a leader in reaching out to our families and their children to teach them about Jesus. I don’t want our children to just learn about Jesus, I want them to learn how to live out Jesus in their everyday lives and then continue that circle to their families until Jesus comes. I want our children’s ministry and minister to our teens to be the very best that it can be and to let families all over the four-states know that we love them and their children.

I dream of the day that 70% of our people will be involved in our C3 Family Groups.

Think of what would happen in our church if this was a reality. Our families groups would be functioning as small churches all over this area – reaching out in service projects, teaching the word of God, and learning to fellowship the way that our ancestors did in the first church. Family groups are a great way to get involved in spiritual growth and discipleship. If you are not involved right now, please sign up over the next couple of weeks to be involved in a group. Maybe you could be a leader of a group and see what God can do through His people when they come together to build each other up and reach out in love to people that don’t know Jesus as their Lord and Savior!

I dream of a Missions’ Ministry that is investing into the lives of our people and teens in such a way that our adults and teens are traveling all over the world to help and get involved in the ministry of our Missionaries.

We may not all be able to go and spend extended times on the mission field, but I dream of a church where we are raising up teenagers who want to be involved in both short term and long term mission work. I dream of a church where our adults are coming along side our missionaries in going to work with them on their fields of service and bringing a little of C3 to their lives and the people the minister to wherever that may be. This kind of a ministry has to start with how we give of our money and our time right here at C3. We must begin by prayer and investment. Investment will take our hearts farther that our minds or imaginations could ever think!
